Paulla Miller, Patient Navigator
Paulla Miller is a highly accomplished and extremely experienced Certified Breast Patient Navigator, bringing her passion to the patients at Arizona Diagnostic Radiology and Breastlink.
Paulla graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration but it was a personal experience with breast cancer at the age of 35 in 2008 that launched her into patient navigation, where she has spent the last twelve years supporting patients and their families through diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care. She was first certified in Breast Navigation through the National Consortium of Breast Centers in 2013.
In addition to her hands-on experience as a Patient Navigator, Paulla assisted in developing navigation programs throughout Phoenix. She has spoken at the Arizona House and Senate, advocating for women's health and underserved populations. She has also provided numerous educational lectures to college-level students on patient compassion and general breast health. Paulla co-wrote and obtained federal grants for research and to provide support for young breast cancer survivors in Arizona.
Paulla's proudest accomplishments are her family. She is married with two adult children. Her daughter has joined the medical field as a Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorder Medical Assistant, and her son is an Officer in the Marine Corp. Paulla attributes her successes and positive outlook on life to her strong faith. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the Arizona desert, and taking long rides with her husband in their 1966 Mustang.
Paulla is committed to helping every patient through their breast healthcare journey with compassion and acumen.
