Breast Patient Navigation Program

Our Breast Patient Navigation Program provides individualized support to help patients understand and manage the next steps in their breast care. Our Certified Breast Patient Navigators assist with coordinating follow-up care, connecting patients with specialists and resources, and helping make the process as clear and seamless as possible.

At this location, Breast Patient Navigation is available for patients with:

  • Elevated Tyrer-Cuzick (TC) scores, indicating a higher-than-average lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
  • Abnormal or positive findings on breast imaging that may require additional evaluation or follow-up.
  • Positive pathology results following a breast biopsy.
  • High-risk pathology results that may require closer monitoring, additional evaluation or specialized breast care.

Genetic testing is also available for appropriate patients to help identify inherited genetic changes that may be associated with an increased risk for breast and other cancers.

When surgical consultation or treatment is needed, our Breast Patient Navigators can connect patients with Breastlink’s dedicated breast surgical oncologists, helping provide a coordinated transition from imaging and diagnosis to specialized breast care.
