Patient Feedback
I had my mammogram today and my yearly appointment with Dr. Bonev. The staff, from the ladies that checked me in, to the Technicians, were friendly and professional. The technician made me as comfortable as possible and showed compassion. Dr. Bonev gives a very thorough breast exam and is warm and cares about me as a person, not just another patient.
Dr Bonev is the best surgical oncologist, I felt so comfortable before and after the surgery, staff are very professional, overall made me feel relaxed. Thank you very much.
Dr. Valentina Bonev is The Best Breast Surgeon, she is ways beyond and above what I expected from a Surgeon, she treated her patients with passionately care just like her own family members. Dr. Bonev and her assistant Charlene took great care of me since I first came to her. She went out of her way and personally involved with my schedules for other Oncologist for second opinions, meeting with different plastic surgeons and my insurance approval for procedures….clearly explained everything to me and advance preparation for post surgery
I underwent surgery by Dr Valentina Bonev recently, to remove a mass. Fortunately it was benign. There has been absolutely no pain after, and I didn’t even need a Tylenol. When the hospital called the next day to check on me, I told them how comfortable I was. The nurse said that Dr. Bonev is amazing. Her patients do very well and rarely have pain. I have been a patient of Dr. West’s for 25 years, and Dr. Link is my oncologist. Both are excellent and caring doctors. I knew that Dr. Bonev’s qualifications would be likewise, because Dr. West and Dr.Link had asked her to join their renowned practice at BreastLink. Also, she is very patient oriented. When it became necessary to change the date of surgery, her assistant, Isela, was very accommodating, even though it meant changing the venue. Dr. Bonev said she likes to “make it easy for the patient.” That’s a concept rarely heard these days! In addition, she is very concerned about eliminating the risk of infection, and appreciates the cleanliness of St. Joseph’s Pavillon, where my surgery was performed. I feel very fortunate that Dr Bonev is my doctor, and highly recommend her.
