Dr. Julie Sun is a Radiologist with specialty experience in breast imaging. Breast imaging is a subspecialty of radiology that involves imaging of the breasts for screening or diagnostic purposes. There are several methods of breast imaging that use a variety of technologies, and Dr. Sun has over 25 years of experience with these techniques and modalities.

After earning her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in lllinois, Dr. Sun completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Southern California (USC)-L.A. County Hospital. Dr. Sun pursued fellowship training in Neuroradiology, also at USC-L.A. County.

Dr. Sun has been working as a radiologist for over twenty-five years and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Breastlink's model of comprehensive women's imaging. Her scope of work includes mammography and tomosynthesis (3-D mammography), as well as stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
